Grandma and Grandson in RV Motorhome

Our son wants to help his grandma preparing for dinner.

 Photobucket

Picture taken inside in-laws RV motor home last weekend. They drove the motor home to my in-laws property beside the river, for us to stay if ever we go boating, water ski and if we went to spend the whole weekend at the river. That motor home is nice and fancy, our son loves to crawl and pull himself up to the couch, drawer and table.
We left the RV motor home there until our relatives from California and New York come.

Tired from work

I am tired! I went to work with my husband. I helped him doing paperwork and went to campmeeting over 100 miles away. The campmeeting is great! Lots of people came to attend this big religious campmeeting down in Virginia. We left at work late in the morning to Virginia and we're home at 5:30 pm. We are all tired! But we were glad everything went ok.

Have A Memorable Holiday at Holiday Whistler Accomodation

My husband and I love outdoor activities. Sports is part of his life, sports helps him relieve stress from work. He grew up performing snow ski, water ski, motorcycle and many more. When I was in Philippines, one of my dreams is to see real snow. I went to Korea and stay there for two years. I can’t forget my first winter, first snow, first time snow skiing. We went to one of famous ski resorts in South Korea. I love skiing even though it was hard for first timer at my age. I enjoyed our weekend rides at ski resort. And I would like to do it again here in US with my husband and son.

The Holiday Whistler accommodation had prepared wonderful places for your memorable holidays. Holiday Whistler is a specialist family-run holiday boutique that will provide all your specific needs on your vacation.

If you are planning to stay over night the Whistler lodging provides several places for you to have a comfortable place to stay in. What you need to do is click to their website and explore their hand-picked selection using powerful search engine, and be comfortable with your own choice.

Benchlands, Arrowhead Point 18 is one of my choices properties, which the Holiday Whistler provided. I like Benchlands because it seems like a good place for families or small groups who want to ski-in and ski-out, which we like the most. And has it’s own private hot tub. Arrowhead Point is a small and desirable complex with a ski-in trail from Home Run and ski-out across the road about 2-3 minutes walking distance. Isn’t that wonderful? Isn’t that exciting? Holiday Whistler is the perfect place for you, for your next winter vacation.

We are happy to see our garden with  healthy plants. It paid all our efforts. Thank you Lord for the sunshine and rain that you had poured in our garden.

The Law of the Garbage Truck

Joke-of-the-day

Read and have fun! This joke was sent to me by one of my friends, and I would like to share this with you.

I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.
So I asked, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!" This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you.
Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so "Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't."

Pass it on...

Breast Cancer Awareness

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH--

This is not only a tag to play with but this is also an important and useful tag. Let's help spread the word on the "Breast Cancer Awareness"

• The first sign of breast cancer usually shows up on a woman's mammogram before it can be felt or any other symptoms are present.

• Risks for breast cancer include a family history, atypical hyperplasia, delaying pregnancy until after age 30 or never becoming pregnant, early menstruation (before age 12), late menopause (after age 55), current use or use in the last ten years of oral contraceptives, and daily consumption of alcohol.

• Early detection of breast cancer, through monthly breast self-exam and particularly yearly mammography after age 40, offers the best chance for survival.

• Ninety-six percent of women who find and treat breast cancer early will be cancer-free after five years.

• Over eighty percent of breast lumps are not cancerous, but benign such as
fibrocystic breast disease.

• You are never too young to develop breast cancer! Breast Self-Exam should begin by the age of twenty.

Freed From the Devil's Chains

I would like to share this interesting story with you that encourage souls to have more faith in Thee. There’s nothing impossible with God.

Saketa Balcha lived with his parents on their small farm in western Ethiopia. When Saketa entered his teens, he began to chew chat, and narcotic leaf. His new habit quickly became an addiction, to the dismay of his parents. Friction grew among family members, and Saketa rebelled even more. Then he began to have episodes of dizziness.
His condition worsened until he showed signs of insanity or demon possession. The family didn’t know what to do, so they took him to a religious teacher, hoping this man could cure him. The religious teacher called other leaders to his home, where they chewed chat and prayed for the boy’s healing. But Saketa began throwing stones, shouting obscenities, and threatening people.
Realizing that they couldn’t help the boy the religious leaders gave up. They tied him up with ropes, but Saketa escaped. So, they chained him and carried him to his parents’ home.
Saketa’s parents cried when they saw their son returning in chains. They didn’t know what else to do for their son. Then someone suggested that they ask the Adventist pastor to pray for their son. Desperate to have their boy back, the parents sent for the pastor. Before going to the boy, the pastor prayed for forgiveness of sin in his won life and for the presence of the Holy Spirit.
When he arrived at Saketa’s home, he found the boy chained to the center pole of the house, shouting obscenities and talking nonsense. The pastor tole the family, “Humans cannot cast out demons or heal disease. Only God can. We must pray, and we must believe that Jesus Christ has the power to save your hon.” The pastor invited everyone to kneel with him. Even Saketa knelt down in spite of his chains, and became silent while the pastor prayed.
After prayer, the pastor urged the family to believe in God and His power to heal. Then he left. The next day the pastor returned and found Saketa sitting in a chair, free from his chains. Saketa responded to the pastor’s questions. Again he prayed for Saketa’s complete healing and the family’s faith. The next day the pastor found Saketa helping his father put up a fence. The family and the neighbors were amazed.
On Sabbath the family worshiped in the Adventist Church. Saketa and eight members of his family enrolled in the Bible class to learn more about God, who had saved him. Today Saketa sings in the choir and praises God for healing him.
Millions in Ethiopia are bound by fears and superstitions. They don’t know the freedom that faith in Jesus brings. Let us pray that the people of this land will receive the news of salvation in Jesus.

Design-your-own Visa Gift Cards

Wouldn’t it be nice to have custom Visa Gift Cards? I like to have a gift card design or creates base on holidays, like father’s day. Yesterday was the day for all special fathers.

We were having hard time looking for the best gift we could get for my father-in-law. It’s hard to find gifts for someone who has everything. Nice gift cards, designed with a father’s lovely picture and quoted with nice words of expression and how much you love your father. This would be a perfect gift you can give where he can buy whatever he wants.

Gift Cards could be customized for all the major holidays like my example of father’s day gift cards.

I like the ENERGY STAR Single Light Newport Wall or Sconce Fixture in Antique Brushed Nickel Collection, which is part of bathroom light fixtures.
